Art Sense is an art studio and social enterprise which delivers tailored arts & expression workshops for community groups and corporations. We encourage self expression as a route to well-being.

CoCreate Tower Hamlets has started its journey some years ago as a community group. Since then, we have grown with the support and input of our community of members and supporters. We have now started a new chapter as a CIC, delivering Wellbeing Programmes in many different setting across London.

This after-work session is dedicated to crafting with mindfulness. Events occur every Thursday from 6-8pm at the Artizan Library, Artizan Street E1 7AF Aldgate | London *Note that this programme is temporarily suspended.

On Wednesdays we run an arts and crafts group to support better emotional and mental wellbeing. Come along to St George in the East Church between 10-1pm to join us. 14 Cannon St Road E1 0BH Wapping | London *Note that this programme is only delivered online at the moment.

Craftea
Craftea

This group is a handicraft circle dedicated to the over 50s. It includes jewellery making, knitting, crochet and embroidery and runs every Tuesday between 1-3pm at the Sonali Gardens Day Centre. 79 Tarling St E1 0AT Shadwell | London - *Note that this programme is temporarily suspended.

Work Related Placement

I am student on my final year BSC Computing at London Metropolitan University having a work-related placement with Artsense CoCreate. I chose this work related placement because of the work is related to my studies and plus the charity is London base which looks at the interest of its community , creating a space and workshop for those with mental health. Having a interest in mental health this was close to my heart and seeing the charity looks after those with mental health issues. Seeing the gallery section on the website displaying expressive arts from those attending the workshop and the attendee’s able to mix together and make friendship which is so important for wellbeing of those going through difficult times especially now during lockdown. The charity provides a safe environment , advice and support to those in need. I thank very much for Patricia for giving me the opportunity to aid in the assignments related to my studies.
